The Shaker collection features the traditional beveled overhang, chamfered details on the posts, tapered legs and simple wooden knobs—all the details you expect in Shaker furniture. These pieces are constructed out of solid cherry and made right here in MA. Because of the nature of cherry, new pieces will be lighter in color, and as it ages the wood boards darken and increases in character and finally achieves variegated shades of the rich, reddish patina that you associate with cherry in approximately 12 months.
